Key Responsibilities:

• Perform sample digestion, extraction, dilution, and other preparation steps for elemental and ionic analysis.
• Operate and monitor ICP (ICP-OES/ICP-MS) and CIC (Combustion Ion Chromatography) instruments to perform routine chemical testing according to approved test methods.
• Prepare calibration standards, quality control samples, reagents, and consumables required for analysis.
• Perform instrument start-up, shutdown, routine maintenance, performance verification, calibration, and troubleshooting to ensure reliable operation.
• Monitor analytical performance, review quality control results, and report any abnormal findings to the Laboratory Leader/ Manager
• Ensure all testing activities comply with laboratory quality requirements, international standards, and safety regulations.
• Support method validation, verification, proficiency testing, and continuous improvement activities when assigned.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Line Manager.

Key Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Garment/Textile, Chemistry, or a related field
• Strong understanding of validating chemical test results
• Experience in operating instruments such as ICP-OES, ICP-MS/CIC, along with familiarity with the ISO17025 Quality Management System, is a plus
•  Proficiency in English communication at a B level or an equivalent standard
• A results-driven and service-oriented professional with strong initiative and effective communication skills
• A proactive team player who can also work independently, managing challenging projects and tight deadlines
