I.      Position Summary

TÜV SÜD is strengthening the team in China in field of Highly Automated Driving under the global strategy based on local markets need. This position is Performing ISO26262&ISO21448 projects in accordance with Mobility: Safety & Security department annual sales target and strategic plans.

II.      Job Responsibilities

1. Project Deliver (70%)

1. • Execute the automotive safety ISO standards (e.g. ISO26262/ISO 21448/ ISO 8800, etc.) and regulation (ECE R171/R79/R152, etc) projects in Great China region.
   • Analysis, communicate and understand the customer demands to make the project proposal, execute and delivery to satisfy customer’s request.
   • Handle the projects, including training, safety audit and safety assessment etc.
   • Create the safety-related assessment report.
   • Coordinate with other sections on team-working for mobility business promotions.

2. Project and Stakeholder Management (20%)

2. • Coordinating milestones within each project with internal and external resources.
   • Timely communicate with related clients regarding on-going projects to guarantee defined annual project milestones.
   • Provide customer support; customer feedback collection and briefing; customer complain handling.
   • Maintain timely communication to Principal Engineer and other team about the project milestones, status, and other project related information.
   • Follow the company culture, continuously learning and understanding the automotive development trends.

3. Learning Organization & Knowledge Management (10%)

3. • Create and update related WP templates, technical proposals, checklists, meeting minutes etc.
   • Assist the safety knowledge system building for internal use.
   • Support the establishment and maintenance of the BL&BU knowledge management system. Including training, seminar, etc.
   •  Perform other duties assigned by Reporting Manager.

III.      Job Requirements

4. • • Bachelor’s degree or above on Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering, Automation, or relevant fields
     • Minimum 3+ years working experience related to automotive functional safety (including SOTIF) engineering development or testing on the safety-related ECU, ADAS in automotive OEM or Tier 1.
     • Familiar with E/E architecture, functional safety and SOTIF method (e.g. HARA, STPA, FMEA, DFMEA, etc.) and common functional safety mechanism, knowledge in autonomous driving would be a plus;
     • Experience in functional safety standards and best practice. e.g ISO26262, ISO 21448, UN R171, ISO8800, etc.;
