I. Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Head of China Verification and Validation, this role serves as a key architect in building up a robust quality and compliance framework, streamlining processes for efficiency and scalability, and enabling strategic growth in voluntary sustainability programs. The position is pivotal in strengthening our market leadership and ensuring operational compliance across China’s verification and validation activities.
II. Job Responsibilities
1. Lead Quality & Compliance Excellence (40%)
- Design, implement, and continuously enhance the quality management system in line with international standards (ISO 17065, 17029, 14065, 17021, etc.) and local regulatory requirements.
- Conduct internal audits, management review, non-conformities, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and risk-aware compliance.
2. Strategic Accreditation Management (30%)
- Maintain existing accreditations and proactively pursue new scopes to support business expansion into emerging fields such as product carbon footprint, ESG verification and circular economy services.
3. Drive Process Optimization & Cross-functional Collaboration (20%)
- Collaborate with Verification & Validation teams and Business Lines to streamline workflows, digitize key processes, and enhance project delivery efficiency.
4. Strategic Initiatives & Leadership Support (10%)
- Lead special projects assigned by senior leadership, such as the development of voluntary sustainability programs, industry engagement initiatives, or strategic partnership development.
III. Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the TIC (Testing, Inspection, Certification) industry, with expertise in implementing and maintaining management systems under ISO 17065, 17029, 14065, or similar frameworks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions and drive collaborative outcomes.
- Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking, capable of managing complexity and delivering under pressure.
