I. Position Summary
This position is responsible for leading sales activities within the Mobility Components Business Line, with a primary focus on General Safety Components (GSC) services. The role drives the achievement of annual sales targets, manages the sales team, and collaborates with internal area sales colleagues to develop integrated business models covering OEMs and their supply chains.
II. Job Responsibilities
1. Sales Strategy [50%]
- Define the sales strategy and policies together with the Manager, and develop and execute annual sales plans with a primary focus on General Safety Components (GSC) services;
- Drive the achievement of annual sales targets by managing the sales pipeline, monitoring performance, and implementing timely corrective actions;
- Establish, implement, and continuously improve centralized sales management across the Business Line within the Greater China Region;
- Lead, coach, and manage the sales team to deliver sustainable sales growth and achieve the sales target.
2. Leadership [30%]
- Lead the sales team in developing business with existing and prospective customers through professional sales activities, including but not limited to the following:
Identify and qualify prospective customers;
Create business opportunities by leveraging sales channels and professional networks;
Respond to and follow up on customer inquiries;
Visit customers and promote TÜV SÜD services;
Prepare proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and secure projects;
3. Support [10%]
- Analyze market needs and customer expectations, identify business opportunities, and support the expansion of the service portfolio from Business Line view.
- Collaborate closely with Area sales colleagues to develop integrated business models and opportunities “from OEM to supplier chain”;
- Monitor the competitive landscape, including new market entrants, competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, new service offerings, alliances, joint ventures, partnerships, and geographic expansion;
- Support Marketing in gathering market intelligence and executing promotional activities.
4. Others [10%]
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Reporting Manager.
III. Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above ;
- At least five years of sales management experience in the testing, inspection, and certification industry; experience in the automotive industry is preferred;
- Strong communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills;
- Results-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated, with demonstrated team leadership capabilities;
- Good command of written and spoken English.
