SALES and OPERATIONS ENGINEER

Job Summary: Sales & Operations Engineer.

To help trach, drive sales activities, meet customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping the company competitive and innovative. Responsible for maximizing sales team potential, crafting sales plans.

To ensure effective administration, management and execution of awarded projects from award to completion/ invoicing in coordination with respective project execution teams without any delay & by ensuring highest level of client satisfaction. Periodic reporting to the management on progress and mitigation of any challenges/ issues encountered during the execution.

Your Tasks

  • Support to plan, organize, and drive sales and operating result (OR) growth for the division.
  • Track & maintain the enquiry/ proposals/ tenders register and ensure coordination with concerned TUV SUD offices for timely completion & submission of bids.
  • Reach out to potential clients through calls, emails, or meetings. Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
  • Research and identify potential customers. Understand target markets and customer needs.
  • Understand client RFQ/ Tender requirements and participate in relevant tenders with a focus on winning and timely submissions.
  • Preparation of proposals/ tenders and associated documentation in line with company policies, procedures and client requirements.
  • Prepare & support the sales/ BD & management to analyze the P&L/ costing.
  • Generate inquiries through existing business contacts. Demonstrate expertise in converting inquiries into orders (hit rate).
  • Promote additional GES services to existing customers.
  • Prepare, present sales, revenue, expenses, and 6-month forecasts to management.
  • Coordinate and manage sales activities locally and regionally.
  • Handle and resolve customer complaints effectively. Take proactive steps to enhance customer satisfaction with value-added and competitive offers.

Your Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Bachelors of Engineering- Electrical, Energy, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, Chemical.
  • Experience: 4-10 years of experience in Sales & Marketing (preferably in the renewable Energy Services- Solar/ Wind Energy and Sustainability field).
  • Communication & other skills: Strong Communication, analytical & Selling skills are a must for this position and carry maximum weightage regarding criterion for hiring.
  • Language: English is mandatory; Arabic is an added advantage.
  • Driving License: Mandatory (UAE)
