Account Manager (Energy Solutions & Projects)

The Account Manager – ESP is responsible for developing and managing strategic opportunities within Energy Solutions & Projects (ESP), with primary focus on Oil & Gas client(s) and drone-based inspection services.

This role involves managing project-based sales cycles, supporting tender processes, and driving revenue from high-value opportunities. The role requires strong commercial capability, structured sales execution, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Account Management & Growth

  • Manage and develop key accounts, primarily within Oil & Gas client(s) and related entities
  • Build strong relationships with clients and key decision-makers
  • Represent TÜV SÜD in client meetings, technical discussions, and industry engagements
  • Support positioning of TÜV SÜD for long-term & strategic project opportunities

 

2. Business Development

  • Promote advanced inspection solutions, including:
    • Drone-based inspections
    • Remote visual inspection (RVI)
    • Asset integrity and condition monitoring solutions
  • Position TÜV SÜD as a technology-driven inspection partner

 

3. Pipeline Management

  • Maintain qualified pipeline aligned with project-based targets
  • Ensure proper opportunity qualification and follow-up
  • Focus on high-value and high-probability opportunities 

 

4. Tender & Sales Execution

  • Support and participate in tender processes, including:
    • Opportunity and risk assessment
    • Proposal preparation and submission
    • Commercial clarification and negotiation
  • Coordinate with technical and operations teams for integrated solution alignment
  • Drive deal closing and contract finalization

 

5. Revenue Realization & Cashflow Support

  • Ensure smooth commercial handover to Operations for execution
  • Coordinate with Operations to maintain client alignment toward project completion and Completion Letter (BAST) issuance
  • Accountable for Invoice and Collection for every delivered work under the handled accounts

 

6. Internal Coordination

Maintain strong coordination with Operations, Technical team, Legal, HR and Finance/Admin to ensure alignment between project execution and commercial milestones.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in TIC / inspection / industrial technical services sales
  • Experience in handling project-based sales or tender processes
  • Understanding of Oil & Gas industry
  • Proven exposure to inspection technologies, asset integrity services, or drone-based solutions
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to engage both technical and commercial stakeholders
  • Ability to manage structured, long-cycle sales processes

 

Note:

  • Candidates without prior experience in TIC / inspection / industrial technical services will not be considered.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with existing relationships in oil & gas customers, drone-service customers, or related contractors.
