We are seeking a highly experienced and versatile Assistant Manager, Data Analytics & Digital Solutions to own, scale, and continuously improve TÜV SÜD’s digital products, analytics platforms, automation systems, and DevOps infrastructure supporting regulated lift and escalator operations.
Key Resposibilities
- Act as end-to-end Product Owner and primary technical owner for TÜV SÜD’s digital platforms, including but not limited to: (1) Remote Monitoring & Diagnostics (RM&D) systems for elevators; (2) Digitalisation platforms relating to Inspection and Permit-To-Operate (PTO); (3) Internal analytics and management reporting tools
- Define and execute a product roadmap that expands feature capabilities, reduces technical debt from legacy systems and improves internal stakeholder experience and regulatory outcomes
- Balance short-term operational needs with long-term architectural sustainability
- Design and maintain advanced analytics dashboards to support inspection performance and productivity tracking, operational and manpower planning and management decision-making and strategic planning
- Design and build Python-based analytics pipelines on a periodic and ad-hoc basis
- Enable management to use analytics outputs for resource optimisation, incentive scheme evaluation and client and portfolio strategy development
- Architect and develop/enhance production-grade applications, using both traditional code-based and low-code/no-code approaches where appropriate
- Ensure systems are scalable, secure, and auditable in a regulated environment
- Own and manage DevOps workflows and CI/CD pipelines
- Environment setup, deployment governance, version control and release management
- Optimise and manage cloud infrastructure (Azure) through architectural tuning and resource optimisation
- Maintain high system availability, performance, and reliability standards
- Identify manual, error-prone operational processes and redesign them into fully automated, end-to-end digital workflows
- Maintain low levels of stakeholder complaints by ensuring rapid issue resolution and system stability
- Establish SOPs and operational playbooks for long-term sustainability
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear business-level communication for senior stakeholders
- Mentor junior team members across analytics, automation, and application development
- Act as a key knowledge holder for critical digital systems and processes
Key Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience across data analytics, software development, digital product delivery, or related fields
Strong proficiency in Python for analytics, automation, and application development
Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker - Experience building data pipelines, dashboards, and automated reporting systems (E.g. Power BI)
- Exposure to low-code/no-code platforms (e.g. Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate) for rapid application development and workflow automation
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects end-to-end
- Comfortable bridging technical depth with business and regulatory needs
