Key Responsibilities:

1. Market Intelligence & Analysis

• Research and analyse the TIC (Testing, Inspection & Certification) market in Vietnam, focusing on building lifecycle services (design, construction, operation, maintenance, sustainability)
• Prepare regular reports on market sector differentiation, including segmentation and unique value propositions for BLS
• Map and analyse the competitor landscape, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and market positioning of key players
• Track and report on construction trends in Vietnam, including regulatory changes, technology adoption, and sustainability initiatives
• Identify and profile key potential customers and stakeholders in the building lifecycle sector
• Identify and engage with key industry associations and forums that BLS can influence or collaborate with

2. Networking & Agency Management

• Build and maintain relationships with agents, distributors, and business partners who can support BLS business development
• Identify, recruit, and onboard potential agents capable of bringing in new business for BLS
• Motivate and align agents with BLS goals, ensuring performance and reliability
• Address and resolve issues with underperforming or unreliable agents

3. Communication & Representation

• Represent BLS professionally to clients, regulators, and partners
• Introduce BLS services to potential clients and stakeholders, covering the full building lifecycle
• Report findings, market updates, and business development progress to management

4. Entrepreneurial Mindset & Initiative

• Demonstrate initiative in building business operations from scratch with limited resources
• Stay productive and motivated when working independently or when results take time
• Develop and execute a 90-day action plan for BLS business development upon joining

5. Fit, Motivation & Practical Considerations

• Show strong motivation for the opportunity and alignment with BLS values
• Balance business development and coordination tasks effectively
• Demonstrate potential for growth and long-term contribution to BLS

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred)
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in business development, market research, or agency management, ideally in building lifecycle services, TIC, or related industries
• Strong analytical and market research skills
• Proven networking and relationship-building abilities
• Experience working with agents, distributors, or business partners
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset, ability to work independently and take initiative
• Fluency in Vietnamese and English
• Knowledge of building lifecycle, fire safety, sustainability, or certification markets is a plus
