Role Summary
As an ESG Executive, you will support both ESG Advisory and ESG Assurance engagements with a focus on sustainability reporting and compliance under BRSR and GRI standards.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze data, support report development, and contribute to assurance processes ensuring credibility and
transparency. This role is ideal for professionals with a blend of analytical skills, reporting knowledge, and practical ESG exposure.
Key Responsibilities:
ESG Advisory Support
- Assist in development of ESG strategies and implementation roadmaps
- Support materiality assessments, stakeholder mapping, and gap analyses
- Assist in defining ESG KPIs, policies, and governance frameworks
- Conduct benchmarking against sector peers and best practices
- Support climate risk and ESG risk mapping activities
- Preparation of client deliverables and presentations
ESG Reporting s Assurance (BRSR s GRI)
- Support preparation and review of sustainability disclosures (BRSR / GRI)
- Collect, validate and analyze ESG performance data
- Assist in data verification and audit trail documentation
- Evaluate reporting methodology, boundaries, and metrics
- Identify gaps in disclosures and support corrective recommendations
- Prepare working papers for assurance engagements
- Coordinate with client teams for evidence collection
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Economics, Commerce, Finance, or related field
- 4–5 years of experience in ESG consulting, sustainability reporting, or assurance
- Working knowledge of:
- BRSR (Business Responsibility and Sustainability Reporting)
- GRI Standards (comprehensive understanding of GRI requirements)
- ESG performance metrics
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Comfortable preparing client presentations and analytical summaries
Preferred Skills
- Experience in ESG data analysis and reporting
- Exposure to climate frameworks (TCFD, IFRS S2)
- Experience with ESG ratings C benchmarking platforms (CDP, EcoVadis, MSCI)
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams
