Your Tasks
- Conduct inspections of boilers and pressure vessels to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Witness pressure tests as mandated by jurisdictional authorities.
- Inspect field or shop locations in accordance with ASME or National Board Code standards.
- Document and report inspection results, including nonconforming conditions, as per jurisdictional and company protocols.
- Perform Loss Control inspections and other types of inspections as assigned, adhering to specified codes and standards.
- Support engineering evaluations and provide solutions for non-compliant situations in collaboration with supervisors and customers.
Your Qualifications
- National Board or Jurisdictional Commission required.
- Relevant ASME/National Board Code Endorsements.
- Education in one or more of the following: High School, accredited apprenticeship (e.g., boilermaker, steamfitter), Power Engineering certification, military/merchant marine training, Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), API-510 or API-570 certification, or technical training in inspection.
- Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Engineering, Technology, Science, or Mathematics preferred.
- Minimum one year of experience in pressure equipment industry (e.g., engineering review, manufacturing, operation, maintenance, inspection, or NDE examination).

- This role requires physical mobility including climbing ladders, crawling into confined spaces, and walking long distances.
