This is an evergreen Test Technician role. We are not actively hiring at this moment, but we continually accept applications and maintain a talent pool. Resumes will be reviewed once an active opening becomes available.
Your tasks
- Inspect, photograph, and document products for assessment against international, national, and customer-specific requirements
- Perform and monitor product testing according to applicable standards, procedures, and project scope
- Collect and record test data (e.g., test data sheets, graphs) and prepare accurate test reports, incident reports, and technical summaries
- Operate, troubleshoot, and care for test equipment (including customized rigs and software) and validate calibrations are current and within range during use
- Update supervisors and program managers with daily project status and complete work within agreed timelines and budgets
- Support shipping and receiving of samples, logging/tagging, and consumables control; perform equipment verifications or calibrations and proficiency testing as assigned
- Follow all TÜV SÜD quality, safety, and information-security policies; report equipment or sample damage immediately, and complete timesheets daily
Your qualifications
- Ability to understand and apply basic electrical and/or mechanical concepts in a lab environment
- Proven attention to detail with experience performing tests to written procedures and documenting results
- Proficiency operating laboratory test equipment and using MS Windows and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organization and communication skills; remains focused and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and work overtime as required
- Technical degree or equivalent training/experience preferred
