Job Summary:
TÜV SÜD is seeking a highly collaborative and resourceful Global Intranet Project Manager to lead the implementation and rollout of the company’s global SharePoint intranet platform.
As part of the Global Brand & Internal Communications team, this role plays a critical part in advancing the broader brand and internal communications strategy by delivering a modern, user-centric digital workplace. The intranet is a key strategic enabler of employee engagement, alignment, and brand consistency across the organisation.
The role requires strong cross-functional coordination between Brand, Internal Communications, IT, HR, Digital, and regional stakeholders. The ideal candidate is structured and detail-oriented, yet adaptable and eager to learn. They must be proficient in SharePoint intranet environments, able to bridge business and technical requirements, and supportive of broader team priorities beyond the intranet project itself.
This is a high-impact transformation role requiring strong stakeholder engagement, resourceful communication, and disciplined project execution within a matrixed global organisation.
Your Tasks
1. Intranet Roadmap & Delivery
Translate the intranet vision into a structured implementation roadmap with defined phases, milestones, and governance checkpoints. Ensure alignment between business objectives, internal communications priorities, and technical feasibility while maintaining delivery momentum.
2. Cross-Functional Stakeholder Coordination
Act as the central coordination hub between Brand, Internal Communications, IT, HR, Digital, and regional teams. Facilitate alignment discussions, clarify ownership, document decisions, and ensure follow-through across workstreams. Work closely with Internal Communications teams to ensure the intranet effectively supports employee engagement, content strategy, and brand alignment. Communicate confidently across diverse stakeholder groups and build consensus in a collaborative, matrixed environment.
3. SharePoint Platform Implementation
Lead the business-side implementation of the SharePoint intranet platform, working closely with IT and external partners. Ensure site architecture, content structures, permissions, and governance frameworks are aligned with organisational needs and user experience principles.
4. Content Governance & Migration
Establish clear content governance models, page ownership structures, and editorial workflows. Coordinate content audits and migration efforts to ensure relevance, accuracy, and consistency across the new intranet environment.
5. Change Management & Adoption
Drive user adoption through structured change management initiatives, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training materials, and feedback mechanisms. Monitor engagement metrics and continuously refine the user experience.
6. Performance & Continuous Improvement
Define platform success indicators in collaboration with stakeholders and maintain visibility of adoption and usage trends. Identify improvement opportunities and support the ongoing evolution of the intranet as a strategic internal communications tool.
Your Qualifications
1.Degree in Communications, Business, Information Systems, or related discipline.
2.Minimum 5 years of experience in communications, digital project management, intranet implementation, or enterprise collaboration platforms within multinational organisations.
3.Demonstrated proficiency in SharePoint intranet platforms, including site architecture, governance models, permissions, and content workflows.
4.Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders in matrixed global environments.
5.Experience coordinating with IT teams and external vendors.
6.Open-minded, adaptable, and eager to learn, with strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to navigate evolving digital environments.
7.Fluent in English; additional language proficiency is an advantage.
