As a Sales & Pricing Data Analyst in our Sales Operations Hub at TÜV SÜD, you will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making across sales and pricing functions.You will work closely with our Global Sales & Pricing Excellence team and various business units to analyze data, identify revenue and margin improvement potential, and support the development of scalable pricing models. Leveraging advanced analytics, automation, and digital tools, you will contribute directly to improving commercial performance and operational efficiency.This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical professional who enjoys working in an international environment and translating data into actionable business insights.
YOUR TASKS:
Pricing & Revenue Analytics: Support global and regional pricing initiatives by analyzing pricing structures, discount patterns, and profitability drivers. Identify optimization potential and provide data-backed recommendations to improve margins and pricing discipline.
Data Analysis & Insights Generation: Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from CRM, ERP, and other business systems. Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations that enable transparent tracking of key sales and pricing KPIs.
Sales Performance Tracking: Monitor and evaluate sales performance across regions, services, and customer segments. Support the identification of growth opportunities and performance gaps through advanced analytics.
Automation & Data Tools: Contribute to the development and optimization of data pipelines, reporting tools, and automated dashboards to enhance efficiency and scalability within the Sales Operations Hub.
Support of Pricing Transformation: Assist in the implementation of value-based pricing approaches by providing analytical support, modelling scenarios, and generating insights for decision-making.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Sales & Pricing Excellence, Finance, and business units globally to ensure alignment on data definitions, KPIs, and reporting standards. Support cross-functional projects with analytical expertise.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in data analytics, sales operations, pricing analytics, or a similar role
Experience in a consulting environment is considered a strong advantage
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets
Hands-on experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g. Excel, SAP SAC, Power BI, Tableau, SQL)
Understanding of sales processes and/or pricing concepts in a B2B environment is highly desirable
Experience working with CRM/ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, SAP) is a plus
Excellent English language skills (written and spoken) are required; additional languages are a plus
Strong communication skills and ability to translate data insights into business recommendations
Ability to work in an international, cross-functional team environment
A proactive, structured, and impact-oriented mindset with a high level of ownership
