Tasks: 

• Further development and maintenance of the entire backup infrastructure for the TÜV SÜD Group
• Preparation of proposals for changes and optimizations to the backup infrastructure
• Independent monitoring and updating of the environment and regular exchange with the service provider
• Driving forward the internationalization of the backup solution as a group standard
• Proactive collaboration on projects for new integrations into the existing backup infrastructure of TÜV SÜD
• Performance analysis and improvement
• Troubleshooting and creation of documentation
• License management and technical lead
• Additionally: ITIL v4 certification and Certification from backup vendors

Qualifications:

• Completed degree in computer science, business informatics or a related course of study or comparable training and further education
• Knowledge of the planning, implementation and IT operation of IT infrastructures and backup solutions
• In-depth knowledge of standards such as ISO27001, EN50600, ISO9001
• Very good operating system and virtualization knowledge
• At least 3 years of professional experience in backup operations
• Motivation and quick comprehension coupled with strong teamwork skills and communication skills as well as a high level of responsibility and quality awareness
• Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English (>=B2).
• Fluency in German is a significant advantage. (>=B2)
