We are looking for a committed and detail-oriented Database Administrator to join our Operations & Administration team. In this hands-on role, you will support and operate critical MS SQL and Oracle database environments, ensuring high availability, data integrity, and stable day-to-day operations. You will collaborate closely with application teams, business users, infrastructure teams, and external service providers in an international environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and resolve technical incidents across MS SQL and Oracle database platforms.
- Monitor and ensure reliable execution of scheduled database jobs using SQL Server Agent and Oracle Scheduler.
- Interpret database and job logs to identify root causes of failures.
- Install, update, and maintain database jobs and scripts.
- Create and manage job schedules, triggers, and dependencies.
- Track and validate data import and export processes.
- Support business users and application teams with database-related issues.
- Perform interface checks between databases and integrated systems.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams and service providers.
- Document recurring issues and known error patterns.
- Support testing, validation, and implementation of database changes.
Qualifications
Database & Technical Skills
- Experience with MS SQL and Oracle database environments.
- Understanding of database lifecycle management, backup, and recovery.
- Experience with automated database workflows and job scheduling.
- Confident use of SQL Server Management Studio and Oracle Enterprise Manager.
- Basic PowerShell or shell scripting skills.
- Windows Server administration basics.
- Experience with log analysis, SFTP operations, and job control concepts.
Integration & Support
- Ability to trace issues across integrated systems and interfaces.
- Experience with IT service management tools.
- Strong documentation skills.
