Tasks

• Assuming role of Application Owner for a range of defined IT products, supporting the TÜV SÜD IT in delivering a professional IT service to our business, such as a data exchange platform, a mailing campaign tool, and an archiving platform.
• Management of the defined software products in accordance with internal TÜV SÜD regulations
• This includes maintaining and updating the existing documentation and coordinating all committees and areas involved, in particular IT security and data protection, if necessary the German works council, as well as documenting the measures implemented
• Serving as the primary point of contact for technical, organizational, and data protection issues related to the use of the applications 
• Assessing the technical feasibility and prioritization of new requirements
• Regularly updating necessary documentation
• Coordination with IT operations (e.g. patch management)
• User management, license management
• Defining support structures
• Cost controlling

Competences

• Completed studies in economics, (business) informatics, or a comparable field.
• Hight IT affinity
• Knowledge in data protection regulations
• Awareness of cybersecurity
• Strong coordination skills, capable of working independently in a methodical and conceptual manner, with a high level of analytical thinking 
• Strong communication skills, able to write clear product specifications
• Confident appearance, strong social competence, above-average communication, moderation, and presentation skills
• Languages: German (minimum level B2), English
