Tasks 

• Planning, implementation and maintenance of LAN/WAN networks (Cisco, Juniper, Alcatel-Lucent, Lancom). 
• Coordination and implementation of WAN connections via VPN and MPLS via various providers and technologies (FTTH/B, xDSL, MPLS, LTE) 
• Administration and further development of the network security infrastructure (firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC with Cisco ISE) 
• Monitoring of the entire network infrastructure (national and international) 
• Incident analysis and ticket processing (2nd level support) 
• Troubleshooting and supporting customer operations  
• Creation of network plans and documentation 
• Support of the VoIP infrastructure (e.g. Cisco Callmanager, SBC) 
• Maintenance and administration of the WLAN infrastructure 

Qualification 

• Completed training or studies in the field of computer science, IT system integration or comparable qualification 
• In-depth knowledge of network technologies (LAN/WAN, routing, switching, VPN, MPLS). 
• Experience with Zscaler solutions – ZIA, ZPA 
• Experience with security solutions such as firewalls (e.g., Checkpoint, Sonicwall, and Fortinet), IDS/IPS, proxy systems, and NAC (e.g., Cisco ISE). 
• Working knowledge of authentication systems such as SAML, LDAP and MS Active Directory  
• Knowledge of cryptography and security mechanisms. 
• Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP) or comparable manufacturer certificates. 
• Hands-on knowledge with network troubleshooting using tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, Traceroute, and MTR  
• Good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken.
