Introduction
As a Rollout Technical Consultant ECM, you will be responsible for the technical implementation and rollout of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions across multiple regions or business units. You will ensure a stable, compliant, and scalable deployment of ECM platforms by coordinating technical activities, supporting integration, and guiding local teams through rollout phases from preparation to go-live and hypercare.
Tasks:
- Plan and execute technical rollouts of SAP ECM solutions (e.g. OpenText, Adobe, SAP DMS, SAP ArchiveLink, SAP Content Server)
- Act as the technical point of contact during rollout projects for global and local stakeholders
- Plan, coordinate, and execute migrations from legacy systems into ECM platforms
- Configure, deploy, and validate ECM components according to global standards
- Support system integrations with SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Concur, HCM, Microsoft Dynamics CRM and other related applications
- Coordinate technical activities with internal IT teams and external implementation partners
- Prepare and execute technical testing (unit, integration, rollout testing)
- Support cutover, go-live, and hypercare phases
- Troubleshoot rollout-related issues and ensure timely resolution
- Create and maintain technical documentation and rollout guidelines
Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable technical qualification
- Several years of experience as a Technical Consultant, Rollout Consultant, or Application Consultant in the ECM environment
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP ECM technologies (e.g. OpenText/,dobe, SAP DMS, ArchiveLink, SAP Content Server)
- Solid understanding of system integration, interfaces, and technical architectures
- Experience with international rollout projects and distributed teams
- Structured, hands-on, and solution-oriented working style
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Very good English skills; German is a plus
- Willingness to travel occasionally, depending on rollout phase
Nice to Have
- Experience with S/4HANA migrations or transformations
- Knowledge of document compliance, retention, and data protection requirements
- Familiarity with transport management and release processes
- Experience with agile or hybrid project methodologies
