Introduction:
As a Technical Consultant ECM, you will design, implement, and support Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions within a global SAP landscape. You will provide deep technical expertise across ECM platforms, support integrations with SAP systems, and ensure stable, secure, and compliant document and content management solutions that meet business and regulatory requirements of TÜV SÜD.
Tasks:
• Design, implement, and maintain SAP ECM solutions (e.g. OpenText, Adobe, SAP DMS, SAP ArchiveLink, SAP Content Server)
• Provide technical consulting across the full solution lifecycle (implementation, rollout, operations)
• Configure ECM components according to global architecture and standards
• Support and implement integrations with SAP S/4HANA , SuccessFactors, Concur, HCM and other related applications
• Analyze and resolve technical issues (2nd/3rd level support)
• Support system upgrades, patches, and migrations
• Collaborate closely with functional consultants, demand managers, and business stakeholders
• Create and maintain technical documentation and solution designs
• Ensure compliance with security, data protection, and retention requirements
Qualifications:
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable technical qualification
• Several years of experience as a Technical Consultant or Application Consultant in the ECM environment
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP ECM technologies (e.g. OpenText, Adobe, SAP DMS, ArchiveLink, SAP Content Server)
• Solid understanding of technical architectures, interfaces, and integration concepts
• Experience working in international and complex IT landscapes
• Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
• Very good English skills; German is a plus
Nice to Have:
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA transformations or migrations
• Knowledge of compliance, records management, and data protection regulations
• Experience with transport, release- and change- management processes
• Familiarity with agile or hybrid delivery models
