Associate Consultant - Boiler & Machinery Engineering

Your Tasks

  • Support risk engineering services focused on production, mechanical, and electrical equipment to help clients reduce equipment breakdown risks
  • Participate in site inspections and loss control surveys alongside experienced consultants
  • Develop technical knowledge through on-the-job mentoring and structured training programs
  • Prepare clear, accurate technical reports using established formats and guidelines
  • Build professional relationships with clients by acting in a courteous and reliable manner on site
  • Support account service teams, including participation in client meetings and presentations
  • Contribute to service quality, client satisfaction, and agreed timelines under supervision

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a comparable technical field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong interest in mechanical, electrical, or industrial systems and how they operate
  • Ability to learn new technical concepts quickly and apply sound judgment
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills in a professional setting
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Good planning and time management skills, especially when coordinating travel
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required for the role

  • Competitive base salary in the range of $68,000 – $74,000 USD annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and location

Additional Information

  • Travel Requirement: This role requires approximately 50–70% domestic travel, with occasional international travel depending on business needs
  • Work Environment: Work is performed at industrial client sites and may involve climbing ladders, navigating tight spaces, and lifting equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Employment Type: Full-time, exempt position
  • Work Authorization: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
