職務概要

I＆I事業本部の機能安全部にて、主にFA（Factory Automation）で使用される安全PLC、安全コントローラ、サーボドライブ、安全センサなどの安全コンポーネントに対し、国際規格に基づく機能安全評価並びに認証業務を担当いただきます。

お客様の製品開発のコンセプト段階から関わり、設計レビュー、FMEA、信頼性評価、試験や監査を通して、製品の安全性を客観的に検証します。

製品のグローバル市場展開を支える第三者認証機関ならではの専門性の高い業務です。

Role Summary

As a member of the Functional Safety Department within the I&I Division, you will be responsible for conducting functional safety assessments and certification in accordance with international standards for safety components—such as safety PLCs, safety controllers, servo drives and safety sensors—primarily used in factory automation (FA).

You will be involved from the conceptual stage of the client’s product development and will objectively verify product safety through design reviews, FMEA, reliability assessments, testing and audits.

This is a highly specialized role unique to a third-party certification body, supporting the global market expansion of products.

業務内容

機能安全のスペシャリストとして、下記の業務に従事いただきます。

• スケージュールや文書管理などのプロジェクトマネージメント
• 設計資料や確率計算などの文書レビュー
• 製品の開発プロセスの機能安全観点の監査
• 機能安全関連、並びに環境試験などの試験並びにレポート作成
• 機能安全に関するセミナーや個別トレーニング

ドイツのエンジニアと連携しながら認証業務を遂行いただきます。あわせて、日本人顧客との会議における逐次通訳（日英）など、コミュニケーション支援業務も担当いただきます。

※実際の業務では、顧客先へ訪問し、機能安全製品の評価および開発プロセスの監査を実施いただくため、プロジェクトの進捗状況に応じて、月の半分程度が出張となる場合があります。

Key Responsibilities

As a functional safety specialist, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Project management, including scheduling and document control
• Reviewing documents such as design specifications and probabilistic calculations
• Auditing the product development process from a functional safety perspective
• Conducting functional safety-related tests, as well as environmental testing, and preparing reports
• Delivering seminars and individual training sessions on functional safety

Carrying out certification processes in collaboration with German engineers. Providing consecutive interpreting during meetings with Japanese clients and facilitating communication between Japanese clients and German engineers as needed.

Note: In practice, the role involves visiting client sites to evaluate functional safety products and audit development processes; therefore, depending on the progress of the project, you can expect to be away on business for about half the month.

応募資格

必須要件

1. 以下のいずれかに該当する方

1-1. ハードウェアの開発または設計の経験をお持ちの方

1-2. 電気・電子回路の開発または設計の経験をお持ちの方

1-3. 上記に準ずる知識や経験を有し、機能安全をこれから学びたい方

2. ビジネスレベルの英語力（TOEIC700点相当以上）

英語力が不足している場合は、入社後に外部機関実施の英語教育を受講してスキルアップを目指していただけます。

3. ネイティブレベルの日本語力（社内外の会議において、日本語のみで質疑応答やプレゼンテーションが可能なレベル）

Qualifications

1. Candidates who meet any of the following criteria:

1-1. Experience in hardware development or design

1-2. Experience in the design and development of electrical and electronic circuits

1-3. Equivalent knowledge or experience to the above who wish to learn about functional safety

2. Business-level English proficiency (equivalent to a TOEIC score of 700 or above)

If your English proficiency is not yet at the required level, you will have the opportunity to attend English language training provided by an external organization after joining the company.

3. Native-level Japanese (able to conduct Q&A sessions and deliver presentations entirely in Japanese at internal and external meetings)
