The Contracts Counsel will play a critical role in supporting the company’s commercial, operational, and compliance objectives by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of contracts. This position requires a pragmatic, business-oriented legal professional who can balance risk mitigation with commercial enablement in a highly regulated, technical service environment. The role will collaborate closely with the Head of Legal and interface with business leaders across sales, procurement, operations, and corporate functions.
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including master service agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs, and partnership agreements.
• Ensure contractual terms align with company policies, risk tolerance, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide clear, business-oriented legal advice on contract interpretation, risk allocation, and compliance.
• Advise on regulatory matters impacting the TIC industry, including liability, warranties, and data protection.
• Develop and implement standardized templates, playbooks, and review workflows.
• Assist in contract management and approval processes to enhance efficiency.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks across contract portfolios, including indemnity, limitation of liability, insurance, and IP.
• Ensure compliance with corporate governance and certification standards.
• Partner with finance, commercial, operations, and compliance teams on strategic initiatives.
• Support corporate transactions or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
• Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution.
• Licensed to practice law in relevant jurisdiction.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial contracting, preferably in TIC, engineering, manufacturing, or professional services sectors.
• Strong understanding of risk allocation, service delivery contracts, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Experience with contract management systems and process optimization preferred.
