Purchaser (m/f/d) in strategic purchasing

The position is to be filled on a full-time basis at our Darmstadt location starting January 1, 2026

What we offer

  • Coordination, tendering, procurement, and administration within a defined product group
  • Monitoring supplier contracts and ensuring that consumers can fulfill the electronic procurement platform in terms of the range of items and goods
  • Coordinating and implementing updates in contract management in a timely manner
  • Processing and monitoring expenditure within the responsible product groups and monitoring projects (expenditure/set budget) together with the specialist department and ensuring audit-compliant processing 
  • Acting as the team's contact person for purchasing systems and shops 
  • Supporting supplier qualifications and evaluations as well as preparing and conducting negotiations
  • Creating evaluations

Your profile

  • IHK Purchasing Specialist (BA), Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a comparable qualification
  • Practical experience in a purchasing organization
  • Confident and friendly manner, structured and accurate way of working with a strong focus on solutions
  • German language skills at C1 level
  • Good MS Office skills, especially Excel, IT affinity (SAP, ERP systems, e-procurement, AI, and bots)
  • Willingness to adjust working hours to the workload
