Job Summary

The Data Center Service Line Lead will be responsible for developing, establishing, and growing TÜV SÜD's Data Center Services business across India. This role will drive strategic business development, customer acquisition, service portfolio expansion, technical excellence, and profitable growth across the complete data center lifecycle.

Your Tasks

• Lead the development and growth of the Data Center Services business across India.
• Develop market and business strategies based on customer needs, industry trends, competitor activities, and investment opportunities.
• Identify and develop opportunities across hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, edge, and captive data centers.
• Drive new customer acquisition and build strong relationships with key accounts, consultants, partners, and industry stakeholders.
• Manage the sales pipeline, customer engagements, technical presentations, proposals, commercial negotiations, and contract discussions.
• Work closely with regional and global experts to develop solutions and leverage cross-border business opportunities.
• Oversee project delivery, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, applicable standards, quality expectations, and internal procedures.
• Build and develop internal technical capabilities through workforce planning, recruitment, training, and effective resource deployment.
• Develop and manage a qualified network of external experts and partner organizations.
• Take ownership of revenue, order intake, gross margin, profitability, budgets, forecasts, and resource utilization.
• Monitor business and operational performance and take appropriate actions to achieve growth and profitability targets.
• Represent the organization at industry forums, conferences, workshops, and customer events.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or a related Engineering discipline.
• MBA or postgraduate qualification in Business Management, Sales, or Project Management is an advantage.
• Around 12–18 years of relevant experience in data centers, critical infrastructure, engineering, commissioning, technical services, project management, or the TIC industry.
• Strong understanding of the data center lifecycle, including design, construction, critical systems, commissioning, and operational reliability.
• Proven experience in business development, key account management, service line management, and commercial negotiations.
• Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships, develop business opportunities, and deliver profitable growth.
• Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams, technical resources, budgets, and project delivery.
• Strong commercial acumen with an understanding of revenue, margins, project costing, resource utilization, and P&L management.
• Excellent customer engagement, stakeholder management, presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Experience working with regional and international stakeholders is an advantage.
