Data Integration Lead

Your Tasks:

As the Data Integration Lead for Integration Hub India, you will oversee TÜV SÜD’s central integration delivery team based in Pune, focusing on SAP CPI and MuleSoft development. Your responsibilities include designing and implementing enterprise-level data and process integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems. You’ll build robust, secure, and scalable interfaces and data flows to support key TÜV SÜD programs, such as OPEn/S4CT and various business units.

 

  • Disciplinary leadership of the SAP CPI and MuleSoft development team within our Integration Hub in Pune.
  • Define and enforce CPI development standards, best practices, and quality guidelines in close collaboration with the Digital Integrations department in Munich
  • End-to-End Integration Architecture: Evaluate business processes and determine integration scenarios (API, Event, File/Batch, ETL/ELT); set interface standards (OData/REST, IDoc, RFC), mapping and transformation rules, as well as quality and security requirements.
  • Implementation on SAP BTP/CPI & MuleSoft: Guide the team in planning, configuring, orchestrating, and developing integration flows; connect internal and external systems (Cloud/On-Prem), including API management, monitoring, logging, and alerting.
  • Data Migration & Quality: Supervise integration and data migration activities for various initiatives (e.g., S/4 Hana); establish validation, reconciliation, and data quality standards.
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure data protection (GDPR), security, version control, and auditability; maintain technical and functional documentation (Blueprints, Interface Catalog, RACI).
  • Release, Testing & Rollout Management: Plan and conduct unit, integration, and regression tests; coordinate cutover, go-live, and hypercare; manage relationships with external vendors.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Corporate Digital Platforms, OPEn/S4CT program teams, and business units; facilitate technical decisions and architecture reviews

 

Your Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in enterprise integration or middleware platforms and least 2 years in a team lead or comparable leadership role.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI) and MuleSoft
  • Strong knowledge of modern integration patterns (API-led, event-driven, data-based)
  • Proven track record in a team lead or technical leadership role
  • Experience with S/4HANA transformations or large-scale ERP programs
  • Familiarity with SAP Event Mesh, SAP API Management, and SAP MDG
  • Knowledge of Agile delivery methods and CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps)
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent English (German is advantageous but not required)
