Your Tasks
- Conduct property loss control surveys to assess fire, property, and business interruption exposures based on NFPA and related standards.
- Develop clear, standards-based recommendations, including loss estimates before and after mitigation.
- Evaluate automatic fire protection systems, fire pumps, and facility water supplies.
- Analyze building construction, occupancy, special hazards, and natural hazards to support risk assessments.
- Serve as a technical resource by providing training, peer reviews, and guidance to other consultants.
- Prepare high‑quality reports, present findings to clients (including upper management), and support proposal and stewardship report creation.
- Provide project management services including plan reviews, special visits, and oral/written presentations.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of consulting experience in fire protection, loss control, or a related discipline.
- Working toward or holding relevant certifications (e.g., PE, CFPS).
- Strong ability to perform fieldwork, collect technical information, and translate findings into clear written reports.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with client decision‑makers, including risk and financial managers.
- Ability to independently manage workload, prioritize tasks, and maintain high professional standards.
- Ability to work in industrial environments including climbing ladders, navigating catwalks, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
