Engineering Manager

Your Tasks

• Lead and oversee daily operations of the EMC and RF testing laboratories in San Diego, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with ISO/IEC 17025, FCC, ISED, and ETSI standards.
• Manage laboratory P&L, resource allocation, and workload planning to achieve on-time delivery and operational excellence.
• Supervise and develop technical and engineering staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
• Ensure laboratory readiness — including equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, and audit compliance.
• Collaborate with Commercial and Project Management teams to align scheduling, quoting, and delivery with client expectations.
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Represent operations during client meetings, accreditation audits, and cross-functional reviews.


Your Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or a related Engineering discipline.
• 8–10 years of experience in EMC and/or RF testing within a TIC or related technical environment.
• 3–5 years of management experience leading technical or laboratory teams.
• Comprehensive knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and regulatory standards (CISPR, ETSI, FCC, ISED).
• Proven expertise with wireless technologies (5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, UWB).
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience in lab buildouts and infrastructure planning.

• This position is based on-site in San Diego, CA.
• Some domestic and international travel may be required.
