Role Overview:
This is a high-profile role, which will require a sound knowledge of all the Company’s services, as well as the drive, commercial skills and technical credibility to build significant customer relationships and partnerships, in all Industries around Automotive and Mobility services, to achieve business targets. This is a home-based office role with visits to clients. It may also involve occasional foreign travel.
About the Role:
We’re looking for a proactive and customer focused Inside Sales Executive to join our growing commercial team. This role combines customer engagement, quotation management, and close collaboration with our Business Development Managers (BDMs) to deliver exceptional service and support customers bringing new products to market.
You’ll be helping clients across commercial, consumer, and industrial sectors navigate key regulatory and compliance processes - including CE Marking, FCC Certification, Electrical Safety, EMC testing, RF testing and Global Market Access - ensuring they receive the guidance and support they need from enquiry to certification.
Key Responsibilities
1. Managing Inbound & Transactional Enquiries
- Respond to inbound customer enquiries via phone and email
- Understand customer needs and advise on suitable compliance and testing services
- Generate accurate quotations using our bespoke in-house Quote Tools
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records within the CRM system, ensuring all activities, quotes, and communications are logged and tracked
2. Supporting Business Development Managers (BDMs)
- Assist BDMs with quote generation and customer proposals
- Provide commercial and administrative support across active projects
- Ensure timely, professional responses to all customer and partner requests
3. Enabling Product Market Access
- Support customers taking products to market - Commercial, Consumer, and Industrial
- Coordinate services related to CE Marking, Radio, EMC, and Electrical Safety testing
- Facilitate FCC Certification and Global Market Access for international approvals
- Work closely with technical experts to ensure accurate information and smooth project delivery
