Deputy Laboratory Manager, Materials Testing Laboratory (m/f/d)
The position is to be filled on a full-time basis as of February 1, 2026, in the Industrial Services/Plant Safety business unit in Frankfurt/Kalbach.
What we offer
• Planning and coordination of human and material resources in the testing laboratory
• Ensuring that all testing orders are carried out on time
• Project management for the introduction of new testing procedures and technologies
• Monitoring and ensuring test quality in accordance with applicable norms and standards
• Ensuring compliance with occupational safety regulations and protective measures
• Management of tools, testing equipment, and consumables
• Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring availability
• Ensuring the preparation of test reports and documentation of partial test results
• Processing customer inquiries and providing technical clarification of test orders
• Assisting with calculations, preparing quotations, and clarifying invoices
• Complaint management and communication with customers
• Acting as a stakeholder between laboratory staff and department management
Your profile:
• Completed technical university degree
• Several years of professional experience
• Management responsibility is an advantage
• Strong motivational skills, leadership, social, and technical competence
• Business mindset with strengths in conceptual and operational areas
• Customer-oriented approach with confident external communication skills and internal teamwork skills
• German language level C-1
• European driver's license B
• Good English skills
