Your Tasks
- Inspect, assess, and test products to verify compliance with national and international safety regulations, producing Certificates and Technical Reports.
- Prepare documentation and reports based on applicable product safety and functional safety standards.
- Provide technical expertise to sales and marketing teams, including customer presentations and responses to technical inquiries.
- Develop test procedures for assigned projects and maintain communication with customers and regulatory bodies as needed.
- Conduct validation activities and site inspections when required.
- Support internal and external customers during safety testing programs and contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Work in accordance with ISO 17025 Quality System requirements and maintain strict confidentiality of customer information.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 6+ years of experience in safety testing and certification, and 8+ years in functional safety assessment.
- Strong software engineering background and experience developing safety critical systems (e.g., ISO 26262, IEC 61508, ISO 13849).
- Ability to perform safety analyses, review safety concepts, and generate functional safety work products.
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with local and remote teams in a fast paced environment.
- Demonstrates initiative, technical leadership, creativity, and strong attention to detail.
- Flexibility to travel as required and ability to lift up to 25 kg during product setup/testing.
