Deputy General Manager - Information and Cyber Security Training

Your Tasks:

The Sales Head – Information & Cyber Security Trainings will lead the national sales strategy, drive revenue growth, and expand TÜV SÜD’s footprint in cyber security and IT governance training solutions. The role is responsible for building a high-performing sales team, strengthening relationships with key corporate clients, and ensuring the monetization and scaling of TÜV SÜD’s Cyber Security Lab and training portfolio across India.

This leader will be instrumental in positioning TÜV SÜD as the preferred training partner for Cyber Security, ISMS, Cloud Security, Data Privacy, IT Governance, Red Teaming, and emerging security skill domains.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and implement a national sales strategy for Information & Cyber Security training.
  • Drive revenue targets across open house, in-house, blended learning, and customized corporate programs.
  • Identify high-potential markets, sectors, and strategic accounts for expansion.
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline with accurate forecasting, reporting, and performance monitoring.

2. Team Management

  • Build, coach, and lead a team of BDMs across key regions.
  • Set KPIs, track performance, conduct reviews, and drive a culture of accountability.
  • Ensure consistent training, mentoring, and capability-building for the sales team.

3. Key Account Management

  • Engage with CXOs, CISOs, CHROs, and L&D Heads to develop long-term partnerships.
  • Lead strategic enterprise deals and multi-year training contracts.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.

4. Portfolio Growth & Lab Monetization

  • Work closely with product, technical, and cyber security lab teams to identify new training opportunities.
  • Drive monetization of the TÜV SÜD Cyber Security Lab through:
    • Hands-on workshops
    • Cyber range programs
    • Corporate simulation-based training
    • Red/Blue team engagements
  • Evaluate emerging technology areas (AI security, cloud security, OT security, cybersecurity governance, etc.) for future course development.

5. Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Track cyber security skill trends, regulatory changes, and certification demand.
  • Analyze competitor offerings and recommend strategic positioning.
  • Provide inputs for portfolio enhancements, pricing strategies, and marketing campaigns.

6. Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with training operations, marketing, product teams, and technical SMEs.
  • Ensure seamless delivery, quality control, and customer experience.
  • Support marketing initiatives such as webinars, events, and thought leadership campaigns.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering/IT; MBA preferred.
  • 10–15 years of sales and business development experience, with at least 5 years in Information Security, Cyber Security, IT Training, Consulting, or IT Services.
  • Strong understanding of cyber security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, GDPR, Cloud Security), certifications (CISA, CISM, CEH), and enterprise L&D needs.
  • Proven track record of meeting revenue targets and leading sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to manage large corporate accounts.
  • Experience in scaling new portfolios or launching new training products is a plus.
