Manager - Project Management & Controls

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing, and delivering projects in accordance with PMI PMBOK project management principles. The role involves project management of OT cybersecurity audits, OT security risk assessments, and cybersecurity consulting engagements while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The Project Manager will work closely with customers, technical consultants, engineering teams, and business development teams to support project delivery, customer engagement, and project governance. The role also includes supporting proposal development and pre-sales activities for OT cybersecurity services.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management

  • Manage the complete project lifecycle from initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, through project closure in accordance with PMP/PMBOK® methodologies.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, communication plans, and risk management strategies.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and acceptance criteria.
  • Coordinate cross-functional project teams, including OT cybersecurity consultants, engineers, and customer stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests management.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, schedule, budget, quality, and contractual commitments.
  • Prepare and present project status reports and dashboards of the progress of the project.
  • Manage customer communications and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Track project financial performance, resource utilization, invoicing milestones, and profitability.
  • Conduct project reviews, lessons learned sessions, and project closure activities.

 

OT Cybersecurity Project Delivery

  • Manage projects involving OT cybersecurity audits, security risk assessments, and cybersecurity consulting services.
  • Coordinate cybersecurity assessment activities, including planning, site visits, workshops, technical interviews, and customer review meetings.
  • Oversee the execution of OT cybersecurity assessments and ensure timely delivery of reports and project deliverables.
  • Coordinate technical resources to ensure project quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Support development and delivery of remediation plans and cybersecurity improvement recommendations.

 

Customer & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary interface between customers and project delivery teams.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships throughout project execution.
  • Conduct project review meetings and executive status presentations.
  • Escalate project issues appropriately and drive timely resolution.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication and project execution.

 

Pre-Sales & Bid Support

  • Support business development and sales teams during customer engagements and opportunity qualifications.
  • Participate in customer meetings to understand business and technical requirements.
  • Assist in project estimation, resource planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Provide project management input during bid and tender submissions.

 

Required Skills:

Project Management

  • Strong knowledge of PMI PMBOK® project management principles and methodologies.
  • Expertise in project planning, scheduling, budgeting and resource management.
  • Strong project governance, risk management, issue management, and change management.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent customer projects.
  • Strong stakeholder, vendor, and customer management capabilities.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Electronics, Instrumentation or a related discipline.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is mandatory.

 

Preferred Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of IEC 62443 standards for Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS) cybersecurity.
  • Knowledge of NIST SP 800-82 (Guide to Industrial Control Systems Security) will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Industrial Control & Safety Systems (ICSS) environments, including ICS, SCADA, DCS, PLC, SIS, and industrial automation systems, will be an added advantage.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Overall 15-20+ years of experience in project management, industrial automation, OT cybersecurity, engineering consulting, or related technical services.
  • Experience managing OT cybersecurity audits, OT security risk assessments, or industrial cybersecurity consulting engagements.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary engineering and cybersecurity teams.
  • Experience in customer-facing project delivery within industrial sectors such as Oil & Gas, Power, Utilities, Manufacturing, Chemicals, or Critical Infrastructure.
  • Experience supporting bidding, tender submissions, and pre-sales activities will be considered a strong advantage.
