KA Specialist (HK)

Position Summary

The incumbent is responsible for ensuring the quality of the services provided to key customers, referred to as “Key Accounts”. He/she has to ensure that all clients’ specific requirements are properly implemented and fulfilled. He/she also tracks projects and ensures that projects from his accounts are handled timely and properly. He/she is responsible  in overseeing and growing the accounts, ensuring that business targets are met and maintaining good relationship with customers. The main area is Electrical & Electronic products and hardlines products, for the European Retail market, with focus on France and Germany.

Your Tasks

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with Key Accounts through proactive engagement, responsive service, and regular communication to establish trust and identify partnership opportunities.
  • Support sales growth through relationship development, networking, and collaborative account expansion activities, working closely with senior team members to achieve sales targets for assigned Key Accounts.
  • Serve as a key contact point and liaison between Key Account clients and internal TÜV SÜD teams, facilitating smooth communication and coordination when needed.
  • Learn and support the implementation of Key Account quality requirements and processes (SOPs, technical specifications, reporting standards, pricing structures), working with technical teams to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Monitor service delivery timelines and coordinate with operational teams to ensure reports and deliverables meet Key Account requirements and contractual commitments.
  • Collaborate with laboratory and technical teams to facilitate the rollout of client-specific testing requirements and procedures for Key Accounts.
  • Participate in training sessions and knowledge transfer activities to understand standard operating procedures for each Key Account, supporting consistent service delivery.
  • Assist with data management for Key Accounts using IT database systems and support analysis efforts to identify account development opportunities.
  • Coordinate with technical specialists when Key Accounts require new testing program development or customized solutions.

Your Qualifications

  • Suitable Bachelor Degree or comparable background in related industries.
  • Minimum 3 years related working experience.
  • Willingness to learn and gain TIC knowledge and basic technical know-how 
  • Able to communicate technical information and transmit to the global subsidiaries.
  • Strong sales skills and experience with client management and growing key accounts.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to build internal/external partnership at different levels and demonstrate corporate professionalism.
  • Good Networking skills, outgoing personality 
  • Pro-active and customer-oriented; able to handle various tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken , native in an industry-relevant European language (e.g. French, German, Spanish etc.) would be an advantage. Additional language skills are a strong plus.
  • Candidates with less relevant experience will be considered for the position of Associate Specialist.
