Job Description (JD) – Wind Inspection Engineer (WTG & Blade Inspection)Position: Wind Inspection Engineer
Experience: 5–7 Years
Education: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Aeronautical, Renewable Energy, or related Engineering disciplineRole SummaryResponsible for inspection, assessment, and reporting of Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) and turbine blades to ensure structural integrity, safety, reliability, and optimal performance of wind assets.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct WTG inspections, including mechanical, structural, and visual assessments.Perform blade inspections using rope access, drones, platforms, or visual inspection methods.Identify defects such as cracks, erosion, lightning damage, delamination, and structural abnormalities.Prepare inspection reports with findings, risk assessment, and repair recommendations.Monitor asset health and support preventive maintenance planning.Ensure compliance with OEM standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.Coordinate with O&M, engineering, and repair teams for corrective actions.Maintain inspection records and documentation.

Requirements: 5–7 years of experience in wind turbine and blade inspection.Good knowledge of WTG systems, blade structures, and defect identification.Experience with inspection reporting and condition assessment.Familiarity with safety standards and work-at-height requirements.Strong analytical and communication skills.Relevant certifications (GWO, Rope Access, Drone Inspection, NDT) are preferred.

Preferred: Experience with multi-brand WTGs and advanced blade inspection techniques.
