Your Tasks
- Perform MFL inspections on tank floors, pipelines, and steel structures using handheld or automated scanners.
- Calibrate and operate MFL equipment (e.g., MFE Mark IV, MFE Edge, HandScan).
- Interpret MFL signals and analyze data to identify and assess defects such as corrosion, pitting, and wall loss.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports including defect mapping and severity evaluation.
- Ensure all inspections comply with applicable standards and codes (e.g., API 653, SNT-TC-1A).
- Maintain and troubleshoot MFL equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols and site-specific procedures during all inspection activities.
- Coordinate with clients and NDT teams to plan and execute inspection work efficiently.
- Participate in training and certification programs to maintain technical proficiency.
Your Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical diploma preferred).
- Certification in MFL inspection (Level I or II per SNT-TC-1A or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in NDT, including at least 1 year in MFL inspections.
- Familiarity with other NDT methods (UT, VT, PT, etc.) is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
- Willingness to travel and work in various industrial environments.
