Sales Engineer

Your Tasks

1. Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for certification and product testing services.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, proposal preparation, negotiation, and contract closure.
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Prepare and deliver professional technical and commercial presentations to clients.

 

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Provide post-sales support, including coordination with technical teams to ensure smooth project execution.

 

3. Market & Technical Expertise

  • Stay updated on industry regulations, certification standards, and market trends.
  • Understand clients’ operations and compliance challenges and recommend appropriate certification or inspection solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with technical experts and auditors to prepare proposals aligned with TÜV SÜD’s service scope and capabilities.

 

4. Reporting & Administration

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, leads, and opportunities in CRM systems.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analyses for management.
  • Participate in trade shows, seminars, and client events to promote TÜV SÜD’s services.

 

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial preferred).
  • 3–5 years of sales experience in third-party inspection, certification, testing, or industrial services.
  • Strong understanding of ISO standards and conformity assessment processes.
  • Proven ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into business opportunities.
