Test Engineer (m/f/d) Electrical Engineering in the field of electromagnetic compatibility – EMC and electromagnetic fields – EMF for the Real Estate division (Electrical and Building Technology business area) in Kassel
Job description:
- Planning and performing standardized and customer-specific EMC tests and measurements on devices and systems from various sectors, such as industry, medicine, and in vitro diagnostics, as part of conformity or development-related testing in accordance with European and international standards and guidelines
- EMF measurements within the scope of occupational safety
- Supporting customers from the preparation of quotations to the performance of tests and the preparation of reports
- Active support in maintaining laboratory accreditation (ISO/IEC 17025)
- Maintenance of measuring halls and measuring equipment
- Determination and calculation of measurement uncertainties in the EMC laboratory in accordance with standards and international specifications
- Research, evaluation, and implementation of metrological standard requirements in practice, as well as participation in standards committees
- Development, technical implementation, and verification of new EMC measurement methods
- Testing, expert, and auditing activities, even without EMC reference
Requirements:
- Degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, physics, or a comparable degree
- Additional qualification as an electrician
- Analytical, systematic thinking with a high level of quality awareness and commitment
- Precise, structured, and eager to learn approach to work
- Strong customer focus
- Willingness to adjust working hours to the workload
- Very good German and good English skills
- Class B driver's license
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- Computer skills (MS Office)
- Willingness to engage in further training and development
