Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer with a strong background in water infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality assurance and control across all project phases, maintaining compliance with applicable standards, specifications, and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) procedures at project sites.
Ensure all construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Conduct inspections, audits, and testing of materials and workmanship.
Review and approve quality documentation such as method statements, inspection test plans (ITPs), and quality reports.
Monitor non-conformance reports (NCRs) and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and clients on quality-related matters.
Maintain proper documentation and records as per project and regulatory requirements.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory quality standards.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes in water infrastructure projects (pipelines, treatment plants, etc.)
Familiarity with relevant IS codes, standards, and quality practices
Excellent documentation and reporting skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills
Work Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in water infrastructure works
Must have worked as a QA Engineer in relevant projects
Proven experience in quality assurance and control in civil engineering projects
Qualification:
Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or specialization in any relevant Civil Engineering discipline)
