Key Responsibilities: 

• Perform testing and evaluation of hardline products (e.g., furniture) to ensure compliance with international standards within required turnaround times.
• Prepare, set up, and operate testing equipment and machinery used in laboratory procedures.
• Carry out on-site or in-lab sample testing in accordance with specified standards and requirements.
• Perform maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments to ensure accuracy, reliability, and proper functioning.
• Analyze and interpret test results, and prepare detailed technical test reports.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records, documentation, and quality system compliance.
• Take responsibility for technical quality aspects of testing activities as assigned by the Laboratory Supervisor.
• Report daily testing progress and results to the Laboratory Supervisor and Laboratory Manager.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the line manager to support overall laboratory operations.

Key Requirements:

• College or university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Technology, or related fields (or equivalent qualification).
• Experience in furniture testing and knowledge of ISO 17025 Quality Management System is an advantage.
• English communication skills at B level or equivalent.
• Result-oriented and service-minded, with strong initiative and good communication skills.
• Proactive team player with the ability to work independently under challenging projects and tight deadlines.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
