Key Responsibilities

1. Site Execution & Supervision

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities for station redevelopment works including civil, architectural, structural, MEP, and finishing works.

• Ensure works are executed as per approved drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and contract requirements.

• Monitor construction progress and report deviations, delays, or risks.

2. Coordination & Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and Railway officials.

• Act as the primary on-site point of contact for all technical and execution-related matters.

• Attend site meetings and prepare MOM (Minutes of Meeting).

3. Quality Control & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety norms, and Indian Railway standards.

• Conduct inspections, check workmanship, and approve materials as per specifications.

• Identify non-conformities and ensure corrective actions.

4. Safety & Regulatory Compliance

• Enforce safety procedures and statutory compliances at site.

• Ensure compliance with railway safety protocols, work permits, and site access regulations.

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily site reports, progress reports, and inspection records.

• Verify measurements, certify contractor bills, and support variation approvals.

• Assist in preparation of completion documents and handover reports.

6. Testing & Commissioning Support

• Support testing, commissioning, and final inspections of completed works.

• Ensure rectification of snags and punch points prior to handover.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering (mandatory)

• Additional certifications in Quality / Safety / Project Management are an advantags

Experience

• 5–12 years of experience in infrastructure projects

• Mandatory experience in Railway Station Redevelopment / Railway Infrastructure / Metro / Large Public Infrastructure Projects

• Resident Engineer for Railway Station Redevelopments.

• Exposure to EPC / PMC environments preferred

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of railway construction standards and practices

• Excellent site coordination and problem-solving skills

• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications

• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of Primavera / MS Project is a plus

• Strong communication and reporting skills
