We are seeking a talented Business & Capability Architect (m/f/d) to join our Enterprise Architecture team. You will help shape the future of our business by aligning strategy with IT capabilities and supporting transformation initiatives. Tasks
- Create and maintain capability maps to create transparency on priorities and gaps
- Align priorities with business and IT stakeholders, ensuring coordination of cross-team dependencies
- Prepare options, trade-offs, and recommendations to support sound decisions
- Turn strategy into pragmatic roadmaps, including sequencing and milestones
- Create simple visualizations (e.g., heatmaps) and communicate insights effectively to diverse audiences
- Enhance Enterprise Architecture ways of working by using reusable methods, templates, and best practices
Qualifications
- University degree in Business, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification, or equivalent relevant professional experience
- At least 5 years of professional experience in enterprise architecture, capability management, and/or business process modelling
- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks
- Experience applying capability-based planning methods (e.g., capability maps, heatmaps, and maturity assessments) to define roadmaps and prioritize initiatives
- Familiarity with EA frameworks and modelling/tooling (e.g., TOGAF ADM, ArchiMate, EA repositories) to create consistent architecture views and decision records
- Strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills in German and English
