Business Process Automation Lead (w/m/d)

The Business Process Automation Lead drives the full delivery of automation initiatives using Microsoft Power Platform. Leading a cross-functional team, this role oversees solution design, implementation, and optimization to ensure measurable business value. Responsibilities also include strategy, governance, pricing, and monitoring to ensure compliance and long-term impact.

 

Tasks

  • Develop and execute the automation strategy aligned with digital transformation goals.
  • Lead the roadmap, development, implementation and continuous improvement of Power Platform solutions (Power Automate, Power Apps, etc.).
  • Manage cross-functional teams including solution owners, developers, and project managers.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of automation projects, from requirements to deployment and support.
  • Establish governance frameworks for development, deployment, and support (including ALM best practices, RACI matrices, and compliance with IT security standards)
  • Monitor solution performance, usage, and compliance.
  • Manage pricing models and report on KPIs, ROI, and efficiency gains.

 

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business IT or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven expertise in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Dataverse).
  • Strong leadership experience in disciplinary and functional team management.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise integration (SAP, Dynamics 365, SharePoint, Azure).
  • Knowledge of governance, compliance, and IT security standards.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in agile project management and prioritization.
