CPI Developer (f/m/d)

Your Tasks

  • Planning, developing, and implementing integration scenarios on the SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI)
  • Analyze technical integration requirements in close coordination with specialist departments, IT, and external partners
  • Development, adaptation, and maintenance of iFlows to connect cloud and on-premises systems (e.g., SAP HCM, SuccessFactors, Concur, and S/4HANA)
  • Ensuring the stability, security, and reusability of integration solutions as part of the clean core strategy
  • Creating and maintaining technical documentation (e.g., flow descriptions, interface specifications, and parameter overviews)
  • Support troubleshooting, monitoring, and incident handling within productive integration landscapes
  • Planning and executing unit, integration, and regression tests and coordinating test results with specialist and test teams
  • Working closely with enterprise architects, platform owners, and module managers to ensure a sustainable integration architecture
  • Collaborating on the further development of DevOps, governance, and deployment processes (e.g., version management, transport, naming conventions)

Your Qualifications

  • Several years of experience developing and implementing integration scenarios with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI)/SAP BTP Integration Suite
  • In-depth knowledge of XML, XSLT, JSON, Groovy Script, and REST/SOAP-based web services
  • Experience integrating cloud and on-premises systems (e.g., SAP HCM, SuccessFactors, Concur, and S/4HANA)
  • Confident use of monitoring, debugging, and error analysis tools within the CPI landscape
  • Understanding of hybrid integration architectures, authentication mechanisms (SAML, OAuth, and basic authentication), and security concepts
  • Experienced in technical documentation and working with DevOps processes (e.g., Azure DevOps, transport management, and naming conventions)
  • Ability to communicate complex technical content in a way that is understandable and appropriate for the target audience
  • Strong sense of responsibility and quality awareness
  • Proficient written and spoken German and English skills
