Your Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the global procurement organization with 15 Shared Service Centers
- Development of the global procurement strategy and definition of guidelines, processes, and systems
- Definition and monitoring of global annual targets and procurement KPIs for all Shared Service Centers
- Ensuring effective cost, risk, and supply chain management
- Responsibility for global commodity groups (e.g., IT, subcontracting services, testing and measuring equipment, plant engineering, and construction services)
- Strategic supplier management, including top‑level negotiations and development of long‑term partnerships
- Management of the global make‑or‑buy or outsourcing strategy
- Further development of global supplier management and implementing sustainability and ESG objectives
- Analyses of international procurement markets and management of global procurement projects
- Definition of global governance requirements and further development of group‑wide procurement reporting for the board, divisions, regions, and legal entities
- Expanding the digital procurement platform and implementing modern AI‑driven solutions
- Active internal stakeholder management
Your Qualifications:
- Completed degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable field
- Several years of leadership experience in strategic procurement – ideally at C‑level or divisional leadership level
- Extensive experience in an international procurement environment
- Strategic and analytical mindset with a strong execution focus
- Excellent knowledge of modern procurement systems and digital purchasing processes
- High level of integrity, assertiveness, and convincing leadership competence
- Strong negotiation and communication skills in German and English
