Director (f/m/d) Certification Body

Tasks

  • Oversee the Management of the Cert Body in Germany 

  • Ensure impartial interpretation and the implementation and compliance of core accreditation rules acc. ISO 17021, 17029 and 17065 and etc.

  • Manage the compliance under DAkkS and other applicable accreditations within the Business Unit (BU) scope based on the P/L and other operational KPIs. 

  • Overall responsible for the adherence to CCB KPIs defined by BU in terms of quality, efficiency and value adding to internal/external stakeholders

  • Align and implement unified operation, to enable de-risking of possible shortfall of single accreditation

  • Responsible for the implementation of technical reviewers based on unified technical review process and requirements. Establish the hub function to service Germany and rest of world based on accreditation strategy 

  • Define and hand-over new processes into the operational organization

  • Establish a problem-solving culture and internal/external customer-orientation

  • Drive the organisational change following the strategic initiatives and accreditation strategy, and manage the communication as well as change management

  • Maintain the major accreditations and promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback and innovation in processes

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in natural science, engineering, process engineering, computer science or a related field

  • Knowledge of ISO 17021/17065/17029 and MD requirements

  • Minimum 3 years experience as head of cert body with an IAF affiliated accreditation- Experience with DAkkS is a plus  

  • Minimum as ISO 9001 lead auditor with 3 years of auditing experience

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional and cultural teams

  • Project management skills to plan and execute process improvement projects

  • Experience in leading organizational change management

  • Experience in cert body requirements unification is a plus
