Your Tasks
- Own the functional design, configuration direction, and continuous improvement of People platforms (e.g., foundational HR systems, service platforms)
- Ensure that platform capabilities align with business requirements, People processes, and the overall operating model
- Collaborate with transformation projects (e.g., SuccessFactors, service platform, business warehouse) to provide functional guidance and ensure long-term sustainability
- Define functional standards, requirements, and design principles for People platforms
- Ensure effective and stable platform operations, including partnerning with the support team on support models, issue resolution, and continuous enhancements
- Act as the key functional counterpart to technology teams for configuration, changes, and releases
- Prioritize functional improvements and backlog items based on business needs and system performance
- Ensure integration of platforms into the broader People technology landscape and architecture
- Support user adoption by ensuring usability, clear processes, and alignment with service delivery models
- Monitor platform performance, user feedback, and support trends to drive ongoing optimization
Your Qualifications
- Degree in business information systems, computer science, business administration, human resources, or a related field, ideally with a focus on technology and digital transformation
- 5+ years experience in People platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, service management platforms, or related HR technologies
- Proven experience in functional product ownership, platform management, or HR systems design
- Strong understanding of HR processes and how they translate into system functionality
- Experience working alongside large transformation programs without directly managing project delivery
- Knowledge of support models, service management, and continuous improvement approaches
- Ability to translate business needs into functional system requirements and improvements
- Strong collaboration skills across business, HR, IT, and project teams
- Analytical and structured mindset with a focus on usability, stability, and scalability
- Strong communication skills with ability to bridge functional and technical perspectives
- Fluency in English required
Additional Informations
The Functional Product Owner – People Platforms owns the functional design, evolution, and support of People platforms, ensuring that systems effectively meet business needs in a stable and scalable way. This role is not responsible for project delivery but collaborates closely with transformation initiatives to ensure that solutions are aligned with functional requirements and sustainable in operations. The role ensures strong ownership of platform functionality, user experience, and ongoing support across foundational People platforms and service solutions.
This role can be based in Europe or Asia.
