Your Tasks
- Define and maintain TÜV SÜD’s global Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) governance framework, policies, minimum standards, roles, and escalation processes
- Develop and execute the global OH&S strategy and roadmap, with focus on high-risk activities such as laboratory, field inspection, electrical, travel, contractor, and lone-worker safety
- Establish and manage global OH&S reporting, KPIs, dashboards, and management reviews, ensuring transparency of risks, incidents, and performance trends
- Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of ISO 45001-aligned management systems, self-assessments, assurance activities, and audit programs
- Lead and coordinate the global network of regional and local Health & Safety Managers, providing guidance, support, and capability development
- Oversee the escalation, investigation, root cause analysis, and follow-up of significant incidents, near misses, and systemic safety risks
- Integrate OH&S governance into the broader Technical Compliance & Quality Management (TCQM) framework, leveraging common processes for audits, CAPA, management reviews, risk management, and reporting
Your Qualifications
- University degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Safety Engineering, Engineering, Natural Sciences, Quality Management, Business Administration, or a comparable discipline
- Extensive experience in global or multi-country OH&S, OHSE, Quality, Compliance, Audit, or Integrated Management System roles within a matrix organization
- Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, risk management, incident management, safety governance, management systems, and performance measurement
- Proven experience in developing corporate policies, governance frameworks, reporting structures, and assurance programs across multiple legal entities and regions
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and change management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and drive global initiatives
- Proficient in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
