Role Summary
The Industry Services Operations Manager is responsible for the end‑to‑end operational performance of TÜV SÜD’s Industrial Services division. This includes managing technical teams, ensuring compliance with international standards, driving operational efficiency, supporting business growth, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
This role requires a leader with strong technical understanding, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multi‑disciplinary teams in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage daily operations of the Industrial Services division (Inspection, NDT, Welding, Pressure Equipment, Asset Integrity, etc.)

Ensure full compliance with TÜV SÜD procedures, accreditation requirements, and international codes/standards (ASME, API, ISO, PED, National Board, etc.)

Plan, allocate, and optimize manpower, equipment, and resources to meet project timelines and client expectations

Drive operational excellence through process improvement, KPI monitoring, and performance management

Support business development by preparing technical proposals, reviewing contracts, and participating in client meetings

Maintain strong relationships with key customers in oil & gas, petrochemical, manufacturing, utilities, and government sectors

Oversee project execution, reporting, documentation, and quality assurance

Manage budgets, cost control, invoicing cycles, and operational profitability

Ensure competency development, training, and certification of technical staff

Lead audits, internal reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives

Support regional coordination with TÜV SÜD teams across GCC and global networks
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master’s degree is an advantage)

Minimum 7–10 years of experience in Industrial Services, Inspection, TIC, or Oil & Gas operations

Proven experience in managing technical teams and multi‑disciplinary projects

Strong knowledge of ASME, API, ISO, PED, National Board, and related industrial codes

Certifications such as API 510/570/580, CSWIP, NDT Level II/III, Welding Inspector, or similar are highly preferred

Experience in budgeting, resource planning, and operational performance management

Strong communication, leadership, and customer‑facing skills

GCC experience is an advantage
