Your Tasks
- Participate in the Associate Training Program weekly training calls, hands-on fire training, and accompanied loss control field surveys.
- Conduct property loss control surveys to evaluate the property and business interruption exposures at client facilities based on NFPA Standards and others as appropriate.
- Develop recommendations based on standards to include loss estimates before and after completion of the recommendations.
- Evaluate automatic fire protection and water supply systems.
- Report and evaluate building construction, occupancy, special and natural hazards.
- Develop loss estimates based on scenarios such as the Maximum Foreseeable Loss.
- Provide services to clients including training, loss control program development, code, and/or regulatory interpretation.
- Provide project management services to include special visits, plan reviews, and presentations to clients.
Your Qualifications
- Four-year college degree or higher required, engineering degree preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required as the position includes direct contact with client management including risk managers, financial managers, and other decision makers.
- Ability to apply technical knowledge to clients’ needs to assist in the business decision making process.
