NDT Contractor

Your Tasks

  • Evaluate pressure equipment designs and review engineering design calculations.
  • Develop test and inspection plans to certify materials, welds, and pressure equipment products.
  • Coordinate and perform on site inspections and auditing activities at client facilities.
  • Inspect materials, evaluate mechanical test results, and conduct shop inspections.
  • Perform and evaluate destructive and non destructive testing in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
  • Certify materials, parts, and components to relevant codes and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in client meetings, manage client projects through the inspection phase, and deliver technical presentations when required.

Your Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience with boilers and pressure vessels.
  • Hands on experience performing non destructive testing in industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of applicable codes, standards, and inspection requirements for pressure equipment.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and inspection data.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with clients and project stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross functional teams.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • NDT Level III certification in one or more of the following methods: RT, PT, MT, UT, or a combination thereof.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, prioritize work, and meet project deadlines.
  • Professional judgment and integrity when performing inspections and certifications.

Additional Information

This position is a contract role and may require travel to client sites depending on project needs.

The role involves work in industrial and shop environments and requires adherence to safety and quality standards.
